Crestview
| Crestview is north of Justin Lane and is bordered by Burnet Road, which has been changing quite a bit over the last few years, with lots of “SoCo-ish” shops and places to eat popping up along the way. It is a nice neighborhood full of houses originally built in the 40’s and 50's, and it's a little farther away from UT than Hyde Park, so there are less students. The neighborhood is very relaxed, with movies in the local park, and ice cream socials every so often during the summer.

Hyde Park
| Hyde Park is known for its beautiful tree-lined streets and its great diversity of residents, buildings and land uses. It is home to small, local shops serving everything from buttermilk-dipped fries at Hyde Park Bar and Grill to vegetarian fare at Mother's Cafe and Garden. In recent years, Hyde Park has been revitalized. As Austin has grown, Hyde Park's proximity to the University of Texas at Austin and downtown has made it popular with faculty, graduate students and young professionals as well as increasing the value of houses in this area.

One of Austin's most exclusive neighborhoods, Tarrytown features large, historic properties - some with stunning lake views, as well as smaller homes and apartments. The Tarrytown neighborhood is usually defined as the area bounded by 35th Street in the North, Enfield in the South, MoPac in the East and Lake Austin on the West. The neighborhood has easy access to downtown and other central districts via Enfield and 35th Street.

Zilker
Zilker is home to Barton Springs and Town Lake. Properties here range from petite houses to large estates and historic homes (the neighborhood dates as far back as 1875). With downtown and South Congress just down the road, Zilker has to be one of Austin's hippest communities. However, it also caters to the most laid-back lifestyles, with meandering hike-and-bike trails, frisbee golf at Zilker Park, extensive botanical gardens and sunset views of the Austin skyline.
